The best time to visit Phnom Penh is during the cool, dry season from November to February. Temperatures are manageable for children, usually ranging from 22°C to 30°C. March to May can be extremely hot, while the rainy season from June to October brings afternoon downpours that might disrupt outdoor plans, though the city remains lush and green.
Currency & Money
Cambodia operates on a dual-currency system. The US Dollar (USD) is used for most transactions, while the Cambodian Riel (KHR) is used for small change. ATMs dispense USD.
