Best Time to Visit Qatar
The best time to visit Qatar is between November and March. During these months, the weather is pleasantly cool, ranging from 18°C to 25°C (64°F to 77°F), which is perfect for outdoor activities and desert excursions. The summer months (June to August) are extremely hot, often exceeding 45°C (113°F), making outdoor exploration difficult for families.
Currency & Money
The local currency is the Qatari Riyal (QAR), which is pegged to the US Dollar (1 USD = 3.64 QAR). Credit cards are widely accepted in malls, hotels, and most restaurants. However, it is always good to carry some cash for small purchases in traditional markets like Souq Waqif. Tipping is not mandatory but appreciated (around 10% in restaurants).
Getting Around Qatar
