Best Time & Weather
The best time to visit Puerto Varas is during the Chilean summer (December to March) when temperatures range from 15°C to 25°C. This period offers the clearest views of the volcanoes and the most reliable weather for outdoor activities. However, even in summer, a light rain jacket is recommended as the Lake District is known for sudden, brief showers.
Currency & Money
The local currency is the Chilean Peso (CLP).
