Leh Main Bazaar

During these months, daytime temperatures hover around 20°C (68°F), making it ideal for outdoor activities. Avoid the winter months (November to March) for family travel, as temperatures drop well below freezing and most tourist infrastructure shuts down.
Currency & Money
The local currency is the Indian Rupee (INR). While some larger hotels and restaurants in Leh accept credit cards, cash is absolutely essential for markets, taxis, and small cafes.
